This is a standard cry issued at the end of each rehearsal, indicating that is time to stop singing and get drunk. It is usually shouted in a short, sharp burst with the emphasis on the plosive "P" sound at the beginning of the word. Generally it is issued by a member of the committee (although no hard and fast rules exist for this), and responses are expected from the rest of the society (much like a call and answer, or the mating call of certain species of frog). | This is a standard cry issued at the end of each rehearsal, indicating that is time to stop singing and get drunk.
