Williams was born on the 13th June 1995 in the Royal Gwent Hospital, South Wales. Williams lived the majority of his childhood in Maldon in Essex after moving there shortly after his second birthday. Williams studied at The Sandon School from 2006-2013. In his final year he held the office of Head Boy. Alongside his academic endeavours, Williams was an active member of the Scouting movement until he joined the Air Training Corps (ATC) at age 13. He advanced to the rank of Sergeant and completed a Gliding Scholarship, which allowed him to fly the Viking T1 Glider solo before his seventeenth birthday.
