A science person with an everlasting passion for choral singing and no formal music education. Has been in the chorus of every production between 2014 and 2017, and has also been involved in three production teams with the society: producer in [[H.M.S. Pinafore 2015]], one of the musical directors in [[Gondoliers 2016]] and head producer / choreographer in [[The Mikado 2017]]. Leads vocal workshops for LOpSoc members before regular rehearsals since 2015, and has also been webmaster for the society in 2015/16 and 2016/17.

Holds the current record of largest "time spent preparing a joke / duration of the joke on stage" ratio within the society, having made a massive painting of the Baratarian Kings for [[Gondoliers 2016]] that was visible on stage for just a few seconds. Has successfully established a new society record in 2017, namely "largest amount of time spent on crafting set decoration" with all the origami for [[The Mikado 2017]].

Has also received the society's Professor Lilley award (2016) and Life Membership award (2017) for contributions to the society.  


After graduating from the society, could often be found lurking in the the back of the Annex with the LOpSoc camera on Saturday performances. However, 2020/21 held something else in store. With the society moving online for the year, Wren returned to the society emotely, arranging and rehearsing a "chorus react" medley of songs from G&S operettas (you can [https://soundcloud.com/lopsoc/gilbert-and-sullivan-medley-2020 listen to it here]). Also directed and edited the remote [[Double Feature 2021]], which resulted in audio-drama recordings of [[Cox and Box]] and [[The Carp]]. You can listen to those at https://m.soundcloud.com/lopsoc .
A fitting encore and farewell to the society. LOpSoc was a welcoming family in a strange place, and Wren will forever treasure the memories and friends made here.
