Imogen Norman

Imogen joined LOpSoc as a first year undergraduate in 2023.

She studies BA Music, specialising in music therapy and performing Musical Theatre. When she’s not teaching little ones about music (or how to swim), or trying to actually do her degree, she’s probably in a show somewhere. She loved being the social secretary in her first year, where she organised lots of socials, dinners, and the famously documented Summer Ball with SUStrings. She was also the society's chair (2024-2025) where she oversaw everything and tried to upkeep the wonderful work of Josh, including some absolutely incredible productions. Nobody has tried to sit on all 5'1 of her yet (edit 2025: this was proven wrong at the Pirates Afterparty). 🪑

She started her time at LOpSoc playing Rose Maybud in Ruddigore as a dramatic soprano hitting top C’s at 10am, to filling the dire lack of altos by playing Pitti-Sing and Ruth. She NEVER stops talking, loves a bit of fun, and would make friends with a brick wall. She also loves to help with choreography and acting games which she stole from her musical theatre training. As she enters into her third year, she is taking a step back to focus on her work, but be sure that you will see her face around!
